Tokyo, March 17, 2021: Diskunion Co., Ltd. - Masahiko Hirohata, President, is pleased to announce the opening of their first large rock specialty shop "Diskunion ROCK in TOKYO" inside HULIC &New UDAGAWA building in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo.
The inventory covers a wide range of rock music from the 1950s to the 2020s, from mainstream rock to hard rock/heavy metal, punk rock/hardcore and Japanese rock. Six professional JBL speakers are installed for in-store performances. In addition to CDs, records and music books, around 50,000 items of clothing, memorabilia, music related liquor and CD/record equipment are in stock. A permanent pop-up space and a special in-store live space are also present.
A wide range of CDs and records from the latest releases to the most remarkable reissues are selected and stocked by professional buyers within Japan and from abroad.
Along with a “Rock Standard Section” with all the best sellers on vinyl, around 400 titles of other rock, punk rock, heavy metal titles are permanently in stock.
A selection of over 15,000 LPs and 5,000 singles of original vintage records from overseas is available at affordable prices. Also in store popular vintage and out-of-print CDs of all rock genres, from punk rock to heavy metal to sub genres.
