DISK UNION USA INC. is the American branch in San Francisco of Japans largest and oldest music retail chain. We export music products to Japan such as new and used CDs and vinyl records, DVDs, audio equipments.
We have been buying used record collections around the country for over 10 years and have a great reputation for paying high prices for valuable collections. Please sell your collections to us, we focus on buying large collections of vinyl records and CDs, and travel anywhere in the States. Even if it’s not a large collection, we are willing to visit if you have rare/collectable Records.

[Sell your own products in Japan]
If you are an artist, music label or distributor, and want to sell or distribute your own CDs or Records in Japan, please feel free to contact us by email with the product information including the wholesale prices. We will forward the info to our buyers in Japan. Please note we don’t carry unauthorized products and duplicated CD-R. We also don’t handle Digital music distribution.

1. How do I sell my record collections to Disk Union USA ?
I) Email or call us with your collection info (such as rough amount, genres, formats etc.).
II) We will visit your place for evaluation. Please note all our buyers are in Japan so we would ask you to give us time to schedule for visit.
2. What are you looking for?
We buy all formats records (LPs, 10 inches, 45’s, 78’s) and CDs, in the genre of Rock, Jazz, Soul, Blues, Hip Hop, World Music, Classical… etc.
We especially look for the rarities like: original 1st pressing, out of print, white label promo, test pressings, audiophile, mono, sealed, shrink, mint condition, deep groove, classic Rock like The Beatles, classic Jazz like Blue Note, Prestige, Riverside, classic Soul like Motown, Chess…etc.
3. Will you buy large quantities of vinyl?
We focus on buying large collections of vinyl Records and CDs, and travel anywhere in the States.
Even if it’s not a large collection, we are willing to visit if you have rare/collectable Records.
4. Will you buy any item regardless of the item's condition?
We will only buy resellable products in good condition.
5. Will you buy miscellaneous items: posters, concert tickets, T-shirts, DVDs, Video tapes, cassette tapes?
The only other miscellaneous items we may buy are cassette tapes.
6. Will you accept trade?
We don’t accept trade or store credit.
7. What should I expect to get for my used items?
Please ask by email with the product info and conditions.
